Handling And Curing Painful Acne Scars

Scars from acne can seem like two times punishment - first you had to deal with the pimples, now you have marks as a memory.

These are the three most common acne kinds:

• Mild acne. This is the most spread type of acne and everyone most of the time suffer from it few times in a life.
• Moderate to severe acne. This type hits your skin more seriously creating inflamed pimples on it.
• Severe acne. The most aggressive and painful form causing cysts growth on and under your skin.

Most serious scarring is triggered by the more severe forms of acne, with nodules more likely to leave everlasting scars than other types of acne. Scars must be treated promptly after they appear to avoid more scars to develop. Try some OTC acne treatment products first.

If you suffer from sever acne, think about visiting your doctor. He will probably prescribe some aggressive treatment method, because OTC products might not help here.

Handling Acne Scars

More often than not, those reddish or brownish acne spots that are left behind after a pimple eventually fade with no need for treatment. Squeezing and touching the pimples (acne) is a big "no no"! It will make it even more serious.

Acne scars take two forms:

Scars with a gradual dip or depression (sometimes called "rolling" scars).. This scars develop on the surface of the skin.Scars that are deep and narrow.

You need to control your acne first before you can start to handle the scars.

Mild vs. Severe Scarring

Not all treatment products are suitable for every type of acne. If you suffer from severe forms, you always should see your medical doctor. He will thoroughly examine your acne and give a grade to it. In accordance to this grade he will recommend treatment solution suited for you. If you have serious scarring from past bouts with acne, there are several things you can do:

Laser resurfacing

Economical approach that can be done right in the doctor's office. The lasers remove the very top layer of the scars making the skin smoother.

According to the number of the scars it can take from 1-2 minutes to maximum of 20 minutes. This approach is not pain-free, so some local anesthesia must be applied. Until the skin heals completely (ussually 2-8 days) you should be taking some pain killing pills.

Dermabrasion

During the treatment a wire brush is used. While it moves on the skin it removes the top layers of the skin. After few days, a new and fresh skin layer will will replace the old damaged one. In accordance to laser therapy, it takes longer till the skin heals itself, but it not painful at all.

Fractional laser treatment

According to statistics this seems to be the most effective treatment option. It is removing scar cells deeper in the skin. Because fractional laser therapy doesn't hurt the top layer of tissue, healing time is not as long. Someone who has had this type of treatment may just look a bit sunburned for a couple of days.
So called "rolling" scars can't be managed with this methods most of the time. Medical doctor has to inject organic material under the scar. It will heal it and raise it to the level of healthy skin.

If none of this methods is helping, surgery is your last option to get rid of the scars. If you're experiencing the scars (or even acne itself), you really should avoid cosmetics on the affected areas. Make up and other products will make it even worse. If you have a red or brownish mark on your face that you got from a bad zit, it should eventually fade, just like the scars on your knees from falling off your bike as a kid. However, it may take 11 months or longer. Still if you avoid squeezing and popping the zits, most likely you will never have the acne scars.

Birthday Poems - Happy, Funny, Sad Or Inspirational?

It is very easy when looking for birthday poems to pick the first one you come across but does this really say what you want it to say?

When trying to find birthday poems for a card or as a gift it is important to find words that convey the right message. You do not want to be sending a friend a mushy slushy birthday poem if your friendship is not like that. And with the same token you don't want to send you partner birthday poems that are funny if you want to tell them how much you love them.

Birthday poems can be written in many different ways, some will make your sides split, others will bring on the tears so it is important that you have an idea of the theme before you start looking for birthday poems.

For example A birthday poem to a very special co-worker who takes the young ones under her wing as though they were her own children. Could be written as follows:

Lots

Hello, Nancy, you are a very special person, we just wanted to say we're proud of you, we're very proud of who you are, and we're very proud of what you do.

And we know that today is your birthday, so we hope you have a great day, indeed, because you've cared for us since our very first day, you taught us everything, in order for us to succeed.

In fact, you took us under your magical wing, like this wonderful, protective mother hen, and ever since, we've looked up to you, because you share your wisdom, again and again.

You teach us about family values, and that work ethic is something that never ends, but most of all, and this is the best part, we're honored to be able to call you friends.

In truth, you treat us like one of your children, and that's a mighty fine place to be, and we just wanted you to know that you're special, and you mean the very world to Chris and me.

You're loving, caring, spiritual and so very positive, and there's many more attributes that spring to mind, you're motivational, you're inspirational, and we've never known anyone who's even half as kind.

You really do mean such a lot to us, in fact, there's probably not enough lots on this Earth, because we know the vale of your friendship, and we know exactly what that's worth.

So, we want you to read this poem often, so you're reminded of just how marvelous you really are, because if our admiration was a distance, then it would be further than the furthest star.

And we just wanted to say Happy Birthday, I guess that's really what these words are for, here's to you, Nancy, you're simply wonderful, and here's to our everlasting friendship, for evermore.

What ever birthday poems you decide to send, always spend as much time as possible reading as many birthday poems as you can until the right one comes to light.
